MIDEM has always been one of the most festive dates in the Cannes calendar: showcases, gigs and label after-parties every night, with Live Nation co-producing the live programme. In January, out of beach season, everything happens indoors — hotel lounges, Palais rooms, and the bars and restaurants of the centre. Busy districts: the Palais, the Gare Maritime / Pantiero, the Allées de la Liberté and Le Suquet.
Three minutes from the Allées de la Liberté and eight from the Palais, Loka is exactly what the music industry needs in January: a human-scale, sound-equipped venue open until 12:30 AM, where a label can gather 40 people around a DJ set without renting a concert hall. Signature cocktails and latina finger food, and an atmosphere that needs no extra decoration. See the private hire page or book a table for a group of fewer than 8.
January is the lowest tourist season in Cannes: hotel pressure stays moderate over 3 days and booking 2–3 months ahead is usually enough. The 2026 hotel partners were the Martinez, Ibis Cannes and Esterel.
20 – 40 lokos
Signature cocktails, circulating latina finger food, DJ set. Two to three hours, standing format, ideal between the show closing and the official party.
10 – 25 lokos
Private table, three-course South American menu, mezcal tasting running through the evening. Served in ninety minutes if you have somewhere else to be.
40 – 70 lokos
The whole casa: bar, dining room and terrace. DJ set until 12:30 AM, optional cocktail workshop, your branding on site.
